This is the handout which was distributed at the Nov 15, 2005, open house held by the City of Renton Economic Development, Neighborhoods, and Strategic Planning Department. The HCA secretary greeted people as they entered and left, and when they left, they were worried about their futures, and rightly so.

As you can see by insets, the City had the housing stock all planned, according to this handout. And comments were made about meeting with the developers already. This was a wake up call for HCA Board members that the Mayor Koelker's "vision for an urban village" had to include use of eminent domain.

Although the date on this map is Jan 2006, the original distributed on Nov 15, 2005 was very like this, if not identical.
